SURFACE AREA FORMULAS
1.) To find the surface area of a cube, you take one of the sides of the cube, then square it. Then, times that number by 6 and you have the surface area! (6 times sides squared)
2.) To find the surface area of a cylinder, use the formula (2 pi radius) plus (2 pi radius times height)
3.) To find the surface area of a sphere, use the formula (4 times pi times the radius squared)

4.) To find the surface area of a Rectangular Prism use the formula (base times width times height). A rectanglular prism is similar to the area of a rectangle, because not all sides are equal. You multiply the 3 different sides 6 times in order to get surface area. (Length times width, width times height and height times length)
